Jasmine To Start Recording Album #2 In September!
Jasmine Rae will head to Nashville and go into the studio in September to record the follow-up to her ARIA nominated debut album, Look It Up.
She will re-unite with Grammy nominated Nashville based Australian producer Mark Moffatt, who she recorded eight of her debut album tracks with.
As well as touring with Lee Kernaghan throughout 2010, Jasmine has colaborated with some of the best writers from the US and Australia.
The new album will be released in March 2010.

Jasmine Rae has been announced to appear at CMC Rocks North Queensland in Townsville on September 25. The event will be headlined by US superstar Tim McGraw as part of his east coast tour.

Jasmine Rae burst onto the music scene in 2008 with a debut album which debuted at #5 on the ARIA Country sales charts and went on to be nominated for an ARIA Award in 2009. This new Deluxe CD/DVD Edition Look It Up, features six new tracks – including four awesome "Stripped Bare" acoustic tracks, four music videos, two live performances and a mini-documentary on Jasmine’s career so far.

ARIA Awards Countdown Begins!
Jasmine Rae will attend her first ARIAS... the 2009 ARIA Awards this Thursday as a nominee in the Best Country Album catagory.
The awards air on Channel 9 and WIN TV from 8:30pm and will feature performances from fellow category nominee Keith Urban (who will open the show) and UK superstar Robbie Williams.

Jasmine Rae Unleashes Her Pink Guitar!
Pink Guitar’ is the hot new single from Jasmine Rae. The third single from her debut album, Look It Up. It hits radio stations next Monday (February 16).
The single was selected by fans, following a Myspace poll in late 2008. ‘Pink Guitar’ is an edgy, catchy, up-tempo country/rock thriller.
Accompanying Jasmine Rae’s powerful vocals are a premier group of local and international musicians including American electric guitar supremo Brent Mason and Australia’s Mick Albeck on fiddle.
Brooks & Dunn’s backing singers Kim Parent and Trez also contribute backing vocals on the song.
The music video for ‘Pink Guitar’ is stylistically similar to the blockbuster Frank Millar feature film Sin City (released in 2005) staring Jessica Alba and Mickey Rourke.
It was produced by Conti Bros Films, who produced the Tropfest winning short film Marry Me for director Michelle Lehman. After its win, Marry Me went on to receive more than one million views on YouTube in just it’s first week on the site. Jasmine Rae will perform at Carols By Candlelight at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne on Wednesday night.
Jasmine will join Anthony Callea, Marina Prior, Jimmy Barnes, David Campbell, Hi-5, Georgie Parker, The McClymonts, Vanessa Amorosi plus many more as people come together to celebrate peace and happiness at Christmas.
Carols By Candlelight airs at 8:00pm on Wednesday December 24 and is repeated at 1:30pm the following day on the Nine Network nationally.

Jasmine Rae Heading To East Timor In Support Of Australian Troops
Jasmine Rae has joined the latest troupe confirmed to tour with the Australian Defence Force to East Timor this month as part of the Forces Entertainment program. Joining Jasmine will be Morgan Evans, comedian Lehmo and compare Aniela Hedditch. The troupe will perform for our Australian troops for Christmas.
Forces Entertainment is an organisation established to provide entertainment to Australian forces all over the world in regions including Afghanistan, East Timor, Iraq and the Solomon Islands. The sole aim of the program is to provide entertainment to Australian Forces that will improve morale by bringing "a little piece of Australia" to far-flung places.
Forces Entertainment has attracted various Australian performers who have embraced the initiative including Beccy Cole, John Farnham, Hamish & Andy, Merrick & Rosso, Missy Higgins and Kylie Minogue.
Jasmine will return in time to perform at Carols By Candleight in Melbourne on Christmas Eve.

Jasmine Rae Has Golden Guitars In Her Sights
In a massive coup for such a new talent, 2008 Telstra Road to Tamworth winner and ABC MUsic artist Jasmine Rae was named as a finalist amongst the biggest names in the business at the announcement of the 37th Country Music Association Awards of Australia at the Sydney Opera House today.
Announced at the official launch for the 2009 Tamworth Country Music Festival, presented by Telstra, Jasmine was named alongside other leading Australian artists Melinda Schneider, Sara Storer, Catherine Britt and Talia Wittmann in the Female Artist of the Year category.
Jasmine received a second nomination for New Talent of the Year, which after less than 12 months on the country music scene, proves what a successful and popular artist she has fast become.
“Wow, this is amazing! To be recognised amongst some of my country music idols is a real dream come true for me, I’m extremely honoured,” the twenty one year old said.
Since taking out the 2008 Telstra Road to Tamworth winners’ mantle in January of this year, Jasmine’s career has skyrocketed, with her current single “Look It Up”, sitting at No#1 on the National Country Airplay Chart for the seventh week in a row.
Australia’s country music community is now eagerly waiting to see who will follow in the footsteps of Jasmine Rae when the Telstra Road to Tamworth Finals are staged at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre on January 19 and 20 during the Tamworth Country Music Festival presented by Telstra.
All 14 finalists will compete in the Semi-Finals at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre on January 19 before the top eight artists are selected to go through to the Grand Final the following night.

ABC Music recording artist and 2008 Telstra Road To Tamworth winner Jasmine Rae has been announced as the local opening act for the Perth and Brisbane legs of Brooks & Dunn’s 2009 Australian tour.
Rae will join Kix Brooks, Ronnie Dunn and special US guest act Dierks Bentley at the Burswood Dome on May 1 and Brisbane Entertainment Centre on May 9. Tickets go on sale November 17.
'I’m totally thrilled Brooks & Dunn and Dierks Bentley have agreed to close my shows in Perth and Brisbane! They’re two great little acts and I’m sure you’ll be hearing lots more about them in the future,' Jasmine commented after hearing the fantastic news.
The announcement has added yet another chapter to what has been an amazing year for Jasmine Rae, since winning the 2008 Telstra Road To Tamworth competition last January.
She’s gone on to record her debut album Look It Up with US based producers Richard Landis and Mark Moffatt, which debuted at #5 on the ARIA Country Album Sales charts.

Jasmine's album Look It Up debuts at #5!
ABC Music artist and 2008 Telstra Road To Tamworth winner Jasmine Rae has debuted at #5 on the ARIA Country Album’s chart with her debut album, Look It Up. The album also debuted at #20 on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart (all genres), #3 on the ARIA Australian Artists Country Albums chart and finished the weekend at #2 on the itunes Country Chart.
Rae, who was virtually unknown before winning the Telstra Road To Tamworth competition in January, was blown away by the result when told of the news last night.
“I’m so grateful that music fans have actually gone out and bought my album!”, says Jasmine. “What can I do for them? Maybe their shopping or washing? It’s such a dream come true.”

Following her 2008 Telstra Road To Tamworth win, and her performances at the CMA Music Festival and the 3rd State of Origin, Jasmine Rae is proud to introduce her debut album Look It Up, through ABC Music/Universal Music Australia.
The album was recorded in both Australia and the US with two of Nashville’s leading record producers – Richard Landis, who has worked with the likes of Vince Gill, Peter Allen, Eddie Rabbitt, Neil Diamond, and Steve Forde, and ex-pat Australian Mark Moffatt whose credits include Keith Urban, Tim Finn and Nick Cave.
Look It Up includes Jasmine Rae’s self-penned debut single ‘Country Singer’.
Jasmine Rae’s remarkable vocal talent has allowed her stretch the boundaries with this debut album. It features a unique mix of raw country, country-pop and alt-country/blues.
